Highland Capitals get their Revenge
The Jets lost out, away to the Highland Capitals on Sunday night (09 Dec), suffering a 13-3 defeat. A short bench saw everyone with plenty of ice time, with goals going to Chris Johnstone assisted by Jamie Mcilroy, Tom "Fish" Haddock unassisted, and Chris Wright, assisted by Graeme McNiven. Man of the match deservedly went to Mark Searby.
A big thanks also to Jane "Bob" Burns, for making the effort to come along, manning the gate, and filling the water bottles. Good to see you back involved Bob, we've missed you!
Approved Sport Status
As of 12th September Ice Hockey officially gained 'approved' status as a sport in the RAF. This is great news for the sport and the only way is up from here. full story...
