The Training Zone
Welcome to the training zone, the place to find your training help and advice, and some information on our beautiful game. If you have any suggestions as to what you want to see here, email me.
Club training takes place at Moray Leisure Centre in Elgin, Thursday mornings on the ice for 8.00am, normally an hour of drills, followed by 30 mins scrimmage. Sunday nights we have an hours scrimmage at 9.00pm, where you can get valuable ice time, and put your skills into practice. Want to build yourself a simple goal to practice your shots at home, click here for more details.
Don't forget your off ice training too, with circuits available at the station gym most lunchtimes. Coming soon, official team off ice training, details to be confirmed. |

Icing
Icing in ice hockey occurs when a player shoots the puck across both the red line and the opposing team's goal line without the puck going into the net. When icing occurs, a linesman stops play. Play is resumed with a face off in the defending zone of the team that committed the infraction. Example "A" is not icing; Example "B" is icing. |
